Blues Boost gives classic blues tones of the past that were created by pushing the beautiful American made tube amps into natural singing distortion, while also giving a gorgeous crystal clean boost to your tone on lower gain settings.

When used as a clean pedal it delivers the shimmering, chiming clean tone that works great to squeeze all the tonal goodness from single coil and lower output humbucker pickups.

When the gain is increased into overdrive you get the massive, raunchy, raw overdriven distortion sounds of vintage American tube amps pushed to the limit, making those 6L6 power tubes roar. You can get your classic singing blues tone or the perfect late 60s/early 70s classic rock tones.

The Blues Boost has been designed to be the ultimate professional clean boost and distortion pedal, delivering the finest USA tube amp tones possible. It gives the natural, all analog tone of vintage tube amps without the high volume, complication or reliability concern that go with them.

It blends with your clean channel like older distortion pedals do not, working more like an overdrive pedal but with its own voice.

The Tweed tone control is modelled after the tone controls on smaller, classic tweed amps. Just like those old tone controls it works only on lower gain settings and becomes less apparent as the amp is cranked. It gives a really nice treble attenuation to clean and medium gain sounds. The Master tone control works exactly how you would expect, allowing you to control the sound of the pedal and get it working perfectly with your amp.

To achieve the very best authentic classic tones Blues Boost uses an all analog circuit design that utilizes real cascading gain stages, just like the finest classic amplifiers. Combined with a completely new transparent tone stack design the result is a pedal that punches like the finest USA built tube amp, sings like the those legendary amps and has all the harmonic warmth and subtlety of those classic amps.

Blues Boost also features a new second Boost footswitch. In normal mode, without the Boost engaged, the pedal is voiced like a classic clean tube amp the breaks up into natural distortion when the gain is pushed. The Boost adds an additional gain stage over this, allowing a jump in distortion and volume for lead tones or higher gain sounds when the Gain control is cranked up. This brings you into the realms of classic rock, blues rock and psychedelic tones.

The Focus and Tight switches allow you to trim the fat in your guitar tone, controlling and focusing it into the perfect studio ready sound. This is perfect for darker sounding or hotter pickups that can easily “flub” out or are hard to achieve a decent clean tone with.

In order to deliver this unparalleled sonic performance no corners have been cut in component choice or build quality. High end audio jacks, potentiometers, switches and German made WIMA capacitors have been utilised to deliver a pedal that not only sounds excellent but offers the rock solid build quality and reliability needed on stage and in studio.
